Clergy members of several faiths will help dedicate the new interfaith chapel at Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus on June 30.
They’ll join Mark A. Wallace, TCH’s president and CEO, and Pam Taylor, Texas Children’s senior chaplain, for the ceremony, which includes religious blessings from the Jewish, Protestant, Catholic and Islamic faiths and a “Tree of Hope.”
After the dedication, the tree will hold prayer cards listing requests and intentions raised by children.

The chapel is intended as a place where patients, staff and visitors of all faiths can go to pray, meditate and reflect in a calming and peaceful environment.
