MORE than 80 women from different faiths walked around People’s Park to raise money for Calderdale Royal Hospital’s Children’s Ward.
Members of Halifax Minster and learners from the Halifax Together project also took part in the walk, which is modelled on the Race for Life.
The walk was organised by Halifax Opportunities Trust and is supported by the Exploring Islam Foundation.
Organiser Surraya Bibi said: “We’re delighted with the turn out. Thank you to all those who braved the weather.”
