World Faith Lilongwe has facilitated some exciting planning for the future!

HIV is still a serious public health issue in Malawi. World Faith Lilongwe believes that to create sustainable results, we need to include youth in the solution. This March the Chapter brought together 60 youth leaders from the Baha’i, Muslim, and Christian faiths. Together, they strengthened their understanding of the key issues learned from the national HIV and AIDs Strategic plan 2015 – 2020 and national HIV prevention strategy. They discussed how youth can overcome HIV/AIDS challenges within the faith community, as well as the role that youth can play in HIV/AIDS education.
