On July 1st, World Faith partnered with the Oxford Saïd Business School to host our first international fundraiser, dubbed the Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship Ball. At the 500 year old Oxford Town Hall, guests were swept away in the 1940’s romance of a dinner dance and live community auction.
The auction raised over ￡4,500 by offering dinners, cultural nights, and other items. A very enticing promise of “holding a grudge on someone else’s behalf for three days” sold for ￡150!
The night was a huge success and we are looking forward to hosting another socially conscious gathering of food, wine, and fun next summer.
