In February Daniel Obi Peters, Program leader of World Faith Abuja, sat down with the NEEM Capsule radio project to discuss youth empowerment and violent extremism in Nigeria. NEEM Capsule is a project of the NEEM Foundation, an NGO helping address the problem of insecurity in Nigeria. Obi had the opportunity to talk about WF Abuja’s programing including civic leadership workshops for youth, and community medical outreach. The show was broadcasted to over 25 million Nigerians around the country.
Last year WF Abuja focused on helping internally displaced persons, education programs and skills training for youth, and providing health services like birthing kits and hygiene lessons, which they hope to continue in the coming year.
