World Faith Kenya has some exciting updates to share. With a focus on youth education and women’s empowerment, the past few months have been successful and inspiring. As part of their children support program, the children of the Ngando slum were able to get full uniforms each at a cost of 10 USD and writing materials. The program enables them to concentrate in class better due to receiving two meals per day at school, as well committing to better education due to higher teacher salaries.

In addition, World Faith Kenya initiated the training of Homa-Bay women on a blanching technique. For the food security project, the women can now access water 24/7 and sell it to the community to generate income. The water is now being used in irrigating farms, increasing food production, and women are continuing to gain knowledge and skills to avoid post harvest loses. Check out these fantastic photos below!
