On Sunday, I went to an Abrahamic dinner, a gathering that promotes open dialogue and understanding among Christians, Jews and Muslims.
If you’ve never heard of an Abrahamic dinner, you’re in good company. Neither had I until I was asked to attend.
I tried to go with an open mind, unsure of what to expect. What I came away with — aside from a bellyful of delicious food — was a new understanding of other religions, particularly the Muslim faith and its women.
