Calicut: Muslim World League (MWL) is looking forward to conduct a massive interfaith dialogue conference in Kerala in association with Al Jamia Al Islamia, Shanthapuram and the International Interfaith Dialogue India (IIDI) of Kochi.

Abdullah Al-Turki, Secretary-General of MWL in a discussion with the vice chancellor of Al Jamia, Abdusalam Vaniyambalam and V.K. Abdul Aziz, director of Al-Hayat International School in Jeddah and also the executive member of IIDI, announced the organization’s decision.

MWL recently conducted large interfaith dialogue conferences in Makah, Madrid and Geneva in last three years. MWL will be conducting its next interfaith conference in Kerala. Leaders of the league have already delivered a letter to the Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh seeking his consent for organizing the program in the South Indian state, Mr. Al-Turki said in Jeddah.

Al-Turki added that interfaith dialogue conferences are meant to improve the relations and harmony between the supporters of various faiths and religions. “We want to strengthen our relations with India,” he said.
