  1. I like this blog a lot! I am working with the Kennedy-Lugar YES (Youth Exchange and Study) scholarship, that connects High School scholars from predominantly Muslim countries with American host families for a year of study. The State Department sponsors the scholars and only 4% of those who apply from various countries ever receive the opportunity to study here!

They are now preparing to come to the U.S. in August and must make final arrangements for visas. I am looking for host families and/or families willing to serve as welcome placements for the first 3 months. These are all outstanding scholars with their own stipend to cover spending money and incidental expenses. They just require a bed and desk and 2 meals a day. Can you open your home to one of 3 remaining scholars looking to study in American Northeast High Schools? Time is crucial so please email me: rpetersen@yfu.org TODAY!
